Your pets are always the best subject to take picture of. I currently have two cats, Mushu & Ripley. The first cat, Tabu passed away a some years back.
I love all animals. I never thought I would be a cat lover. I took Tabu in when he was one month old. My friend heard him crying alone by her bedroom window. She couldn’t take him in because she was allergic to cats. I found out that he had an enlarged heart. Perhaps that is the reason why his mother rejected him when he was a baby. He passed away three years later. He was my first boy. The best part of him was his heart-shaped nose.
Mushu is my mama’s boy. I took him in a year after I took Tabu in. Both of them were partners in crime. He is every affectionate, loveable. He knows when you are feeling sad. He would lay right next to me. Especially when Tabu passed away.
And finally, there is Ripley. Ripley is a big time diva. I got her when she was 1 month old, after Tabu’s passing. I wasn’t sure if I was ready to take care for another cat but she needed a home. Mushu loves her when she came in. Slowly he started to take care of her like his little sister, Not they are inseparable. She did not started off being affectionate like the other two. She was difficult to get a good shot of her. As the years past by, she slowly warmed up to me….at all odd hours of the night.
Taking pictures of them was a pride and joy. You can see them on my personal instagram @iamrachelchin. They have their on fan base as well on social media.
